What's new?

Ashlyn Peri Represents OHS at CPA Day at the Capitol!

We are proud to share that Ashlyn Peri, one of our outstanding seniors, recently participated in CPA Day at the Capitol in Tallahassee!
During this incredible experience, Ashlyn met influential Florida leaders, including Senate President-Elect Jim Boyd and Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins. She also had the unique opportunity to shadow Shelly Weir, President & CEO of the Florida Institute of CPAs, gaining firsthand insight into leadership, advocacy, and public policy. Ashlyn made valuable professional connections as she prepares for college next year, and we couldn’t be more proud of her for representing Oviedo High School at such a prestigious event!
Way to go, Ashlyn!

Students of the Week

SOTW

Congratulations to our Students of the Week!

Jasmyn Canagasaby - Ms. Kovaleski said, "Jasmyn is such an amazing student and my right hand this year. She goes above and beyond and this year would be deplorable without her!!!"

Giovanni Mastrelli - Mr. Poole said, "Gio puts forth great effort in class every day."

Camille Rodriguez Diaz - Ms. Charcap said, "Camille is thoughtful, deep thinking, intelligent, and reliable leader in Spanish 5. Not only does she prepare each assignment by doing exactly what is expected, but additionally, she understands the detailed nuances of the works that we are studying because she works so very hard at learning the material. The thing that sets Camille apart in this class is that she has also aligned herself with our only non-native speaker in the class and sits with her to help her understand the works that we are going over. She is an impressive leader and I would love for her to be recognized. She will be an incredible people guide and people leader in her adult career for sure and want to praise her for always knowing the material and then sharing her knowledge with others. She is one of my most outstanding 5th year students and I thank her for all her contributions in my class."

Aryana Go - Ms. Hall said, "Aryana is an example to her classmates. She has consistently taken care of all her work, asked questions when she needed help and completed all of her assignments. She is kind and helpful to her partners. She has shared with the class the ways she studies to do well on exams, and it has made a difference. Well done, Aryana!"

Jayla Maglorie - Ms. Patrick said, "Jayla is a joy to have in class- she comes in with a smile on her face she is eager to learn the material, she cleans without being asked, and she is kind- always willing to help any classmate or offer words of encouragement."
