Congratulations to our 137 Class of 2026 Honor Graduates

Student of the Year for the Class of 2026

Congratulations to Salutatorian, Moitri Santra, Salutatorian of the Class of 2026 and our Student of the Year, whose extraordinary achievements continue to make Oviedo High School shine.

Moitri was named one of the Top 300 Young Scientists in the Nation in the Regeneron Science Talent Search, earning $4,000 for herself and Oviedo High School. Her cutting‑edge research on improving treatment for citrus greening disease has also made her a 3M Young Scientist Challenge Finalist, an ISEF Grand Award Winner, Florida Farm Bureau Winner, and a FOX 35 Student of the Week.
As a member of the Kang Research Group, Moitri brings exceptional skill in experimental design, data analysis, and advanced biological research. She serves as a mentor to young scientists and continues to advance meaningful, real‑world scientific solutions.

As Moitri’s principal, she is not only talented but also humble and empathetic towards others, which speaks volumes about her character.

We are incredibly proud of Moitri and cannot wait to see the impact she will make on the world.

The one item that all seniors really would love to have is a yearbook. Many times we don't have enough extras at the end of the year and many seniors get left out of this amazing memory. Please make sure you order a yearbook at www.yearbookforever.com. oviedianyearbook@gmail.com with any questions!

Dear Senior Parents,

The WROR TV team is excited to announce two ways to celebrate your senior in the WROR TV Senior Video that premieres before Senior Sunset in the auditorium and then plays before graduation at UCF. The video will be posted for free on May 13th here: https://oviedojournalism.com/2026seniorvideo/.

Photo Shoutout: Free
For a photo shoutout, please submit 4 photos of your student from across their childhood. This has been an Oviedo staple for senior video since its creation 30 years ago. This can be a great chance to celebrate (or playfully embarrass) your senior. Link for photo shoutout: https://forms.gle/63EdCRKNLLaJWhYv7. We design your slide for you. An example is on the form itself.

Video Shoutout: $15
For a premium and more personal shoutout, our video shoutouts return! For this, you film a 20 second video and shout out your senior directly. For previous year's examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMVGEU_9-qU (video tributes starts at 41:56). This is the link for video shoutout: https://forms.gle/S4JaTDkXnvZfDqkb9. More directions can be found on the form. As a fundraiser for WROR TV, Each video is $15 for inclusion paid via MySchoolBucks (https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/prdembd?ref=ZZI5ZOKY9Z04VE4_ZZ69N4GVSD9TEZ).

If you’re still waiting on your proof for your senior ad from the yearbook team, thank you for your patience. We are working hard to finish proofs by the end of the month. All senior ad space has been sold, and no additional spaces can be offered at this time. Thank you!

Sincerely,
Ben Langevin, CJE
