Congratulations to our Employee of the Week, Ms. Martha Hernandez!
Ms. Hernandez is truly a shining example of dedication, kindness, and servant leadership. Since joining Oviedo High School last year, she has consistently brought a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and caring spirit to everything she does. Recently, Martha went above and beyond for our School Counseling Department. In preparation for the first day of school, she took the initiative to remove the plastic coverings from offices, dust the spaces, and ensure everything was ready for staff members' return. She even plugged in office refrigerators so they would be cold and ready the next day. Her thoughtful attention to detail made a significant difference and helped ease the transition back to school for many team members. In addition to her daily responsibilities, Martha has also helped train new custodial staff, demonstrating both her expertise and her willingness to support others. Her selflessness, dependability, and genuine care for people do not go unnoticed.
Whether it's through a helping hand, a warm smile, or her commitment to excellence, Martha makes our school a better place every day. We are incredibly grateful for all she does and are proud to recognize her as our Employee of the Week!
