Kason Watson - Ms. Hueston and Ms. Boucher said, "Kason is a light in the class. He comes to class on time, is prepared and attentive every day, and participates in all class discussions. He gives his full attention to what is being done in class, and acts like a leader. He maintains good grades while also participating in a Varsity sport. He is patient, kind, attentive and focused. Because of all of these reasons, we believe Kason is very deserving of student of the week."

We really appreciate his kindness and genuine willingness to serve."

Teacher of the Week: Ms. Colon-Ramos
At Oviedo High School, we are fortunate to have dedicated educators who create exceptional learning environments for all students. This week's Teacher of the Week recognition goes to Ms. Colon-Ramos for her outstanding commitment to students and the positive culture she has built within her classroom.
Recently, a district employee visited Oviedo High School to observe a student and spent considerable time in Ms. Colon-Ramos's classroom. Following the visit, she took the time to share how impressed she was with the classroom's structure, organization, and positive atmosphere. She noted the strong relationships that Ms. Colon-Ramos and her paraprofessionals have developed with students, highlighting the established rapport, student engagement, and attentive participation she observed throughout the lesson. A parent also reiterated what a caring teacher Ms. Colon-Ramos is and was glad her child had her for a teacher.
Working in a Circle classroom requires extraordinary patience, skill, and dedication. The visitor specifically recognized how well the classroom was managed and how seamlessly the team worked together to support students' learning and success. The positive environment and clear expectations created by Ms. Colon-Ramos allowed students to thrive and demonstrated the very best of what exceptional student education can look like.
Thank you, Ms. Colon-Ramos, for your passion, professionalism, and tireless efforts to support our students each day. Your commitment to creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom makes a lasting difference in the lives of your students and their families. We are proud to have you as part of the Lion Family!
